Dear Readers,
Bitcoin introduced the world to a revolutionary technology that had never existed before: decentralized, confiscation-resistant money. For the first time in history, people can actually feel somewhat calm about protecting their wealth from both inflation and theft.
But Bitcoin also introduced the world to another technology that many people believe is revolutionary: blockchain. In fact, parts of the crypto space (including myself to a certain degree when I was newer to Bitcoin than I am now) are so enamored by blockchain that they believe that blockchain was Bitcoin’s real innovation rather than decentralized, confiscation-resistant money.
That couldn’t be further from the truth.
