Letter #191: Debunking FUD From The National Bank Of Rwanda

Read now to learn how central bank critiques of Bitcoin usually devolve into hypocrisy.

Dear Readers,

Governments, central banks, and regulators are scared of Bitcoin. After decades of controlling the money supply, military, courts, laws, and almost everything else, they’ve become quite comfortable in their ability to extract obedience and wealth from their citizens. But Bitcoin puts their control over the money supply in jeopardy, and if governments lose control over the money supply, their control over everything else will diminish. As Henry Kissinger put it:

If you control the money, you control the world.

With that context in mind, it’s a lot easier to understand why governments around the world are attacking Bitcoin so frequently these days. But try as they might, they won’t, and indeed can’t, stop Bitcoin.
