Dear Readers,

Governments around the world have benefited immensely over recent decades from their nearly unchallenged ability to print money at will. Political pundits are able to make massive promises to their constituents in order to try to stay in power “democratically” and can arm powerful militaries against their citizens and opponents when democracy fails to bend to their will. Retribution for their bad behavior is slow to come since they can seemingly always print more money to bail themselves out.

I say “nearly unchallenged” because the past decade and a half have seen the rise of the most powerful challenger to fiat’s reign in history: Bitcoin. Bitcoin has a monetary policy that puts its users first and it offers a settlement network without any barriers, whether political, geographic, or cultural. Bitcoin will win out, not just because it has to, but because it is a wholesale improvement over everything humanity has experienced up to this point.

Government currencies don’t stand a chance, but governments don’t intend to go down without a fight. Bitcoin doesn’t have an official publicity team; it’s just a software protocol after all. But governments certainly do and they’re preparing their propaganda machines for all out war…
