Letter #147: There Is No Inflation In Bitcoin

Read now to learn how everything you've ever heard about Bitcoin being inflationary is wrong.

Dear Readers,

Inflation is top of mind for people around the world these days and it’s no wonder why: the cost of goods and services is exploding and people’s wealth and income are getting decimated. In the United States for example, inflation over the past 12 months came in at 8.3% per the government’s official numbers, but many people believe those numbers are woefully underestimated. In other parts of the world, inflation is much, much higher.

The damage caused by inflation cannot be understated: humanity is drowning under the burden of currency devaluation, and people are struggling to survive in large part because inflation makes them have to work harder to get by than they otherwise would have to work. Money printing is the root of all inflation, and no money gets printed more easily than fiat.
